Geoffrey Lee

Biography

Geoffrey Lee is a pianist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has accompanied classes at the San Francisco Ballet School since 2019 and is the ballet pianist for the San Francisco Opera Dance Company. He is an alum of San Francisco Conservatory of Music who received his M.M. in piano performance Spring 2020 after studying with Sharon Mann. Geoffrey completed his undergraduate at Harvard University in 2014 where he took classes in historically informed performance with Robert Levin. He also has performed in a number of music festivals including the 2021 Rebecca Penneys Piano Festival, the 2018 Zephyr Chamber Music Festival, the 2018 Brescia Classica international piano competition and was the pianist for the winning ensemble in the 2018 Kristin Pankonin Art Song Competition. In addition to classical music, Geoffrey has also studied Jazz piano and had the opportunity to perform in the 2009 Montreux Jazz Festival and the Next Generation Monterey Jazz Festival that same year.
