NUTCRACKER REPERTORY CLASSES – NOVEMBER 13, 2022

Join us in SF Ballet School’s studios on November 13 as we journey through Helgi Tomasson’s Nutcracker to learn repertoire from this classic ballet. These intensive sessions focus on exploring the artistry and iconic choreography of SF Ballet’s Nutcracker. Classes will consist of a traditional ballet class, then will move to repertory.

9:45 am – 11:45 am

For participants currently training in ballet, ages 12–14. All students, please bring ballet slippers. Pointe shoes allowed.

12:00 pm – 2:00 pm

For participants currently training in ballet, ages 15–18. All students, please bring ballet slippers. Pointe shoes allowed.
Taught by: SF Ballet Soloist Julia Rowe

2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

For participants currently training in ballet, ages 10-12. Please bring ballet slippers.
Taught by: SF Ballet School Faculty member Kristi DeCaminada

4:15 pm – 6:15 pm

For adult participants age 18+ training at an intermediate/advanced level. All students, please bring ballet slippers. Pointe shoes allowed.
Taught by: SF Ballet School Faculty member Jeffrey Lyons

Watching a class as a member of the audience offers an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at the rigor and craft of dance instruction while also providing a deeper connection to the production and art form itself.

*Please note: observers must register in advance. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Photography and videography are strictly prohibited inside the SF Ballet building
