Training the Dance Stars of the Future

Pursuing Dreams, Both Physically and Virtually

We are delighted to share an excerpt from this year’s San Francisco Ballet School Virtual Open House featuring an interview between event hosts, SF Ballet School alumni and current SF Ballet Corps de Ballet members Leili Rackow and Jacob Seltzer, and School Director Patrick Armand where he shares what it’s been like for the School in recent months, his hopes for the future, and gives a glimpse into student classes and rehearsals.

The School is a fundamental part of SF Ballet—nearly 70% of the Company’s dancers trained in SF Ballet School and over 160 students perform with the Company each year during Nutcracker and other Repertory Season performances.

As our teachers and artists continue to adapt the School’s classes to ensure the best experience for our students, please know that this is only possible with support from individuals like you.
