YUAN YUAN TAN’S 25TH ANNIVERSARY DINNER
PLEASE JOIN US FOR A VERY SPECIAL CELEBRATION
SUNDAY, APRIL 19, PALACE HOTEL
Following a matinee performance of Balanchine’s masterpiece Jewels – during which Tan will dance the glittering lead in Diamonds – guests will be invited to a reception and dinner in her honor at the Palace Hotel. This event will allow for a special glimpse into the life and celebrated career of Tan at SF Ballet. In addition to dancing the lead in some of the most challenging and beautiful ballets of all time, some of the world’s most influential choreographers have created roles on Tan. With this milestone, Tan has now had a longer career as a Principal Dancer than any other dancer in the Company’s history.
The event will feature a reception in the ornate Garden Court, a three-course dinner in the Grand Ballroom, and a special presentation honoring Tan.
All proceeds from this event will benefit a wide range of SF Ballet artistic initiatives, including new works, scholarships for San Francisco Ballet School students, and community education programs for thousands of youth, families, and seniors.
