SPECIAL EVENTS & COVID SAFETY PROTOCOL

SF BALLET 2022 SEASON EVENT SAFETY PROTOCOL

San Francisco Ballet is prioritizing the health and safety of our patrons, artists, crew, administrators, and volunteers. To ensure the safety of the audiences, artists, and staff members, we kindly request that you adhere by the guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control, the State of California, and the City and County of San Francisco.

PROOF OF VACCINATION

In accordance with these guidelines, SF Ballet will require event attendees 12 and over to show proof of full vaccination (photo ID, photo of vaccination card or in California, QR code).

Beginning February 1, 2022, you are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after completing the full initial course of vaccination (either two-dose mRNA series or single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine) and one week after receiving a booster shot once a person is eligible for a booster shot. Until a person is eligible for a booster, they are considered Up-to-Date on Vaccination two weeks after completing their full initial series of vaccination.

PROOF OF A NEGATIVE COVID-19 TEST

Guests may also be required to provide a negative COVID-19 test result, in addition to proof of full vaccination, before entering the event venue. For seated dinners, special events, and development events at the Chairman’s Council level or above, SF Ballet will offer guests an antigen test as a courtesy for their time fulfilling the requirement of our event safety protocols.

To receive your at-home eMed antigen COVID-19 test by mail, please ensure you select “Provided by SF Ballet” when filling out the “COVID-19 Test” field on the RSVP form or indicate your preference to the Event Manager when submitting your RSVP by the RSVP deadline.

Tests and detailed instructions for accessing a complimentary concierge will be mailed one week prior to the event. You may also opt to take your own COVID-19 test (within 24 hours of the event start time for antigen test; within 48 hours of event start time for PCR); click here to view a map of COVID-19 testing locations.

MASKS

In accordance with current masking guidelines, guests will be required to wear a face mask when not actively eating or drinking during the event.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please note for every SF Ballet fundraising event, there is a fixed date after which all sales are considered final and no refunds will be available (see full list of events and dates below). If a cancellation is made after the refund date has passed, but prior to the event, a ticket purchase may be converted into a fully tax–deductible event contribution or used towards another fundraising event in the current season.

If you have determined you must miss an event within two weeks of event date due to the following reasons related to COVID, please contact specialevents@sfballet.org and the event manager will work with you or your guests on a bespoke at–home event experience:

  • You or someone in your group has tested positive for COVID-19 during the 5-day period preceding the event.
  • You or someone in your group is not feeling well and exhibiting symptoms consistent with COVID-19.
  • You or someone in your group is a transmission risk for reasons such as caring for someone with COVID-19.

  • SF Ballet Auxiliary Opening Night Gala: February 1, 2022
  • Yuan Yuan Tan Anniversary Dinner: January 21, 2022
  • SF Ballet Fashion Show Featuring Masion Rabih Kayrouz: passed
  • SF Ballet School Spring Festival: April 15, 2022
