A Midsummer Night's Dream

A JOYFUL MASTERPIECE

Composer: Felix Mendelssohn
Choreographer: George Balanchine

Enter Shakespeare’s enchanted forest of magic, whimsy, mistaken identity, and jest–where fairies rule and love triumphs.

SF Ballet last performed this timeless Balanchine masterpiece over 30 seasons ago; this revival features radiant costume and scenery designs by Martin Pakledinaz (SF Ballet Nutcracker and Don Quixote) and a lush score by Mendelssohn. A joyful ballet for all to enjoy!
