NUTCRACKER

NUTCRACKER

COME CELEBRATE AMERICA'S FIRST NUTCRACKER!

A joyous return to a magical holiday tradition! This holiday season, gather friends and family to celebrate the return of Nutcracker, an enchanting ballet with a feel-good story about the wonder of childhood.

Set at a Christmas Eve party in 1915 San Francisco, Nutcracker tells the story of Clara, a young girl given a magical nutcracker doll. The Nutcracker comes to life in her dreams, battles the evil King of the Mice, and takes Clara to a Crystal Palace full of dancing. With brilliant choreography by Helgi Tomasson and a beloved score by Tchaikovsky, SF Ballet's Nutcracker is a festive treat for the entire family!

COVID SAFETY

San Francisco Ballet is carefully monitoring the evolving pandemic and continues to follow the health guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control, the State of California, and the City and County of San Francisco. We cannot wait to get back on the Opera House stage to perform Nutcracker and as an organization, we are planning accordingly to ensure the safety of audiences, artists, and staff. While we finalize preparations for our safe return, we have delayed the sale of Nutcracker tickets until fall. Please check back with us for updates on September 22 or sign-up to our email list to be notified as tickets are available.
