Last Chance to Double Your Impact for DISC

Last Chance to Double Your Impact for DISC

All New and Increased Gifts Will Be Matched

All new and increased gifts supporting SF Ballet’s Dance in Schools and Communities (DISC) program received by December 31, 2020 will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $100,000, by our supportive friends at the Diana Dollar Knowles Foundation!

As this year comes to a close, we’re celebrating our Dance in Schools and Communities (DISC) program and the impact it has had with youth across the Bay Area. Since shelter in place began, we have reached over 113,000 students through the television program SF Loves Learning, virtual residencies in San Francisco Unified School District classrooms, and providing programs to the local Boys & Girls Clubs in San Francisco and North San Mateo County. Hear from SF Ballet Trustee Marie O’Gara Lipman on why arts education is important, and how DISC can continue to build community and support students in the classroom.

The DISC residency program served approximately 3,000 PreK-12 students at over 45 public schools in San Francisco each year prior to the pandemic. We are proud to share that we are now, with technology for distance learning, offering equitable access to virtual dance education to more than 113,000 children and families across the Bay Area!

Your support of SF Ballet’s Dance in Schools and Communities (DISC) program will make an even greater impact this holiday season for students across the Bay Area and beyond.
