Ballet 101 is our three-class series designed to harness the knowledge of Company artists and staff to give you an overview of the art form and access to individuals that make San Francisco Ballet one of the world's most celebrated ballet companies. You'll also get to take a class with a faculty member from SF Ballet School and you'll receive a comprehensive review of the 2017 Repertory Season so you know which performances you will want to attend.

  2. Hear a brief history of SF Ballet by dance scholar, Carrie Gaiser Casey, Ph.D.
  3. Take a basic ballet class and debrief with School faculty
  4. Get an overview of the 2017 Repertory Season with a ballet master to help you choose the programs you will most enjoy
