Support The Work of SF Ballet’s DISC Teaching Artists
All new and increased gifts supporting SF Ballet’s Dance in Schools and Communities (DISC) program received by December 31, 2020 will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $100,000, by our supportive friends at the Diana Dollar Knowles Foundation!
Our Dance in Schools and Communities (DISC) teaching artists work in lockstep with the San Francisco Unified School District teachers to not only inspire creativity, but also to amplify their curriculum. Hear from the teachers and artists by watching the video below!
The DISC residency program served approximately 3,000 PreK-12 students at over 45 public schools in San Francisco each year prior to the pandemic and continues to provide programming to more than 60,000 children with equitable access to virtual dance education.
Your support of SF Ballet’s Dance in Schools and Communities (DISC) program will make an even greater impact in these vulnerable and challenging moments for students across the Bay Area and beyond.
