Corps de Ballet member Kimberly Marie Olivier discusses portraying the role of Ellida Wangel, from Lady from the Sea, in Val Caniparoli’s Ibsen’s House, and the valuable coaching she received from him, Ballet Master Betsy Erickson, and Caniparoli’s assistant Maiqui Manosa. After relating some of her impressions of the pieces being created for the Unbound festival, she talks about her own experience of choreographing for a social media platform.
