Double Your Impact for DISC

Double Your Impact for DISC

Will YOUR Gift Be the One to Get Us to Goal???

All new and increased gifts supporting SF Ballet’s Dance in Schools and Communities (DISC) program received by December 31, 2020 will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $100,000, by our supportive friends at the Diana Dollar Knowles Foundation! We only need $9,482 to get there!

For more than 40 years, our Dance in Schools and Communities (DISC) program has created a space for students to explore their creativity, learn new skills, and provides equitable access to arts education in the San Francisco Unified School District and across the Bay Area. Hear from Gina Ferrante, a retired SFUSD principal, on why arts education is important, and how DISC helps to build a sense of community for students in the classroom.

The DISC residency program served approximately 3,000 PreK-12 students at 47 public schools in San Francisco each year prior to the pandemic, and we are incredibly proud that through distance learning, we are now providing equitable access to dance education to more than 113,000 children and families across the Bay Area!

Your support of SF Ballet’s Dance in Schools and Communities (DISC) program will make an even greater impact this holiday season for students across the Bay Area and beyond.
