Wednesdays 2:00–3:15 pm: Sep 11, 18, 25 / Oct 2, 9, 23, 30 / Nov 6, 13

Classes are taught by Cecelia Beam, Master of Science in Ballet. All classes taught to live piano accompaniment and are offered free-of-charge. We just ask that you commit to all 6 classes. Space is limited. Registration is required by September 4.

Modeled after the Dance for PD® classes developed by the Mark Morris Dance Group and Brooklyn Parkinson Group and designed specifically for individuals with Parkinson’s Disease and their spouses, family members, friends, and caregivers. These joyful dance classes integrate ballet, modern and folk dance and are designed to honor PD-specific concerns such as balance, flexibility, coordination, isolation, and depression.

New participant: please attend a required 30-minute orientation prior to the first class on September 11th at 1:30 pm and September 14th at 2:30 pm.
