NEW SCENERY AND COSTUMES!
Three-Act Story Ballet

Helgi Tomasson and Yuri Possokhov’s staging of Don Quixote returns in its entire splendor, now with spectacular all-new scenery and costumes by Tony Award winning designer Martin Pakledinaz and lighting by James F. Ingalls. Miguel de Cervantes’ romantic and witty story, placed in the colorful streets of Spain, comes to life with a lively cast of characters, along with the bravado and excitement of some of classical ballet’s most technically demanding dances.

The 2012 newly designed production of Helgi Tomasson and Yuri Possokhov’s Don Quixote is made possible by New Productions Fund Lead Sponsor Mrs. Jeannik Méquet Littlefield, Major Sponsors Rudolf Nureyev Dance Foundation and Larry and Joyce Stupski, Sponsors Suzy Kellems Dominik and Stephanie and Mory Ejabat and by Story Ballet Sponsor Koret Foundation.

Approximate program length: 2 hours, 30 minutes.

Composer: Léon Minkus
Production and Staging: Helgi Tomasson and Yuri Possokhov
