Policies

TICKET POLICY
  1. All sales are final. No refunds, cancellations, or credits. Events in the area and transit-related delays, like traffic and parking availability, are beyond our control and are not grounds for exemptions to this policy.
  2. If you make a mistake when purchasing tickets online, contact Ticket and Patron Services as soon as possible to request an exchange. Do not buy another set of tickets as there are no refunds.
  3. Exchanges, when allowed, are subject to fees, restrictions, and availability. When exchanging your tickets results in a higher price, the difference will need to be paid to complete the exchange. We are unable to refund the difference in cost when the exchange results in a lower price in compliance with San Francisco Ballet’s Conditions of Use. See the Ticket Exchanges section for more information.
  4. Everyone entering the Opera House, regardless of age, must have their own ticket and occupy their assigned seat. Sitting in laps and standing is not allowed. Children must be seated next to an accompanying adult.  Anyone of any age creating a disturbance will be asked to leave, and their tickets will not be refunded. Children under the age of three, including babes-in-arms, will not be admitted into the auditorium.
  5. San Francisco Ballet tickets are for personal use and are not for resale. SF Ballet reserves the right to cancel any order suspected of being for resale.
  6. Casting, programming, start time, and prices are subject to change without notice.
  7. Tickets cannot carry over into a different season. Tickets for Nutcracker are only valid for that year’s run of Nutcracker, and tickets for the Repertory Season are only valid for the Repertory Season of the original purchase, excluding Special Events.
  8. Wheelchair spaces and the accompanying companion seats are available for those attending the performance using a wheelchair. If you purchased a space for a wheelchair and now require a seat instead, please contact Ticket and Patron Services.
SUBSCRIPTION POLICY
  1. Subscription seats are renewable only by the original primary account holder and are not inheritable or transferable.
  2. In accounts where the primary account holder has seatmates outside of their household, only the primary account holder may request changes to the account and changes to the tickets including reprints, exchanges, and other business.
  3. Wheelchair spaces are for patrons who attend performances using a wheelchair and are renewable by the primary account holder while the space is needed. If that need has changed, the space and companion seat will not be renewable, so the space remains available for patrons who use a wheelchair.
  4. SF Ballet reserves the right to cancel any order suspected of being for resale.
