Set to Camille Saint-Saëns beloved score, Alexei Ratmansky's delightful Le Carnaval des Animaux (Carnival of the Animals) brings a whimsical menagerie of animals to life. The program also features a world premiere work, Francesca da Rimini by San Francisco Ballet Choreographer in Residence Yuri Possokhov, and the return of Artistic Director & Principal Choreographer Helgi Tomasson's elegant Trio, set to Tchaikovsky's string sextet “Souvenir de Florence.”
