PRE- AND POST-PERFORMANCE TALKS
WHAT GOES INTO MAKING A BALLET? JOIN US TO FIND OUT.
Join San Francisco Ballet artists and staff at our pre- and post-performance talks to learn about the choreography, artists, and music that you'll see on stage. We'll explore the fundamentals and history of the art form as well as meet the artists who are creating ballet today.
Our popular Meet the Artist Interviews spotlight a work to be performed that afternoon/evening. These informative talks feature artists and choreographers in conversation with a moderator. Interviews are 30 minutes and take place on the Orchestra Level.
Tickets: Complimentary with your tickets to the performance.
Schedule: 1 hour prior to curtain on Fridays, Sundays, and Opening nights and immediately following select Thursday evening and Saturday matinee performances.

Company artists and visiting scholars invite you to delve deeper into that evening’s performance. And you do not need a performance ticket to attend!
Tickets: Free and open to the public.
Schedule: Wednesdays, 6:00–6:45 pm
Location: War Memorial Opera House
Enter through the carriage entrance on the north side of the building, adjacent to the courtyard.
