FUEL THE MOMENTUM

Grants from foundations and public partners power experimentation, nurture emerging choreographers, and drive programs that use dance to reimagine how art lives in community.

FOUNDATION GRANTS

Foundations are vital partners in sustaining San Francisco Ballet, supporting both daily operations and projects that shape the future of the art form. From commissioning new ballets and music to facilitating global artistic collaborations, support from foundations fuels work that is powerful, inclusive, and transformative. Every grant makes a difference.

Some of the vital initiatives powered by the generosity of our funders include:

GOVERNMENT GRANTS

San Francisco Ballet engages with government partners through competitive grants to expand access to the arts. We build public-private partnerships that have deep community impact. It is important to recognize that the public sector has an essential role to play in ensuring that every community has access to the performing arts.
