Janice Kim

Janice Kim is a collaborative pianist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She holds a Performer Diploma and Master of Music in Collaborative Piano, as well as a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance, from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. With over 10 years of accompanying experience, she has collaborated with singers, instrumentalists, choirs, and opera and musical theatre productions. Her experience includes serving as an Associate Instructor and Graduate Assistant in the Collaborative Piano Department, as well as a music director, vocal coach, and performance pianist for opera workshops. She has also worked extensively with young musicians through piano instruction and summer music programs. Janice is passionate about creating supportive and inspiring musical environments that encourage performers to develop their artistry, musicality, and confidence.
