Derek Lim

Derek Lim is a pianist for the San Francisco Ballet School. He began accompanying ballet classes and rehearsals as the Dance Accompanist Intern at Interlochen Arts Academy in Northern Michigan, where he also performed as pianist for the world premiere of a new ballet work and a production of Les Sylphides. Before accompanying ballet, he worked as a collaborative pianist for the USC Thornton Choral Department while completing his studies. Derek holds a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Southern California.
