World Ballet Day Live

One Day. Five Ballet Companies. Live and Online.

Thank you for watching World Ballet Day LIVE 2017. If you missed the broadcast, or would like to rewatch it, we'll be posting a recording of the full broadcast on YouTube and Facebook in the days to come. You can find out more here, or on our YouTube and Facebook channels.

For the fourth year in a row, we collaborated with the Australian Ballet, Bolshoi Ballet, The Royal Ballet, and The National Ballet of Canada to bring you 22 hours of streaming content featuring classes, rehearsals, special guests, and more.

San Francisco Ballet broadcasted October 5, from 11 am–4 pm (Pacific Daylight Time). We presented Company class, rehearsals of classical works, a sneak peek into Unbound: A Festival of New Works, artist interviews, and more. Our final hour, from 3–4 pm, incorporated pre-recorded segments from guest companies Houston Ballet and Ballet West.
