British choreographer Cathy Marston drew from Edith Wharton’s novella Ethan Frome to create a stunning character study of a doomed love triangle in a repressive New England winter.

This ode to pure joy of dance starts with dancers moving simply at the barre, blossoming through increasingly complex movement into a rapturous crescendo of 39 dancers leaping and turning.
