The space between life and death. Passionate connectivity. The music of Björk. Three dancemakers evoke the spiritual connections that span life and death, the beauty and pain in relationships, and a surrealist dream ballet. Edwaard Liang’s poignantly explores the “infinite ocean” between life and death, to a commissioned score by Oliver Davis. Dwight Rhoden brings brilliant contemporary physicality to a meditation on the complexities of love and relationships. Arthur Pita unleashes his imaginative, theatrical movement style in a ballet rave set to songs by Icelandic singer/songwriter Björk.
