San Francisco Ballet Principal Dancer Sofiane Sylve teaches a Master Class on The Sleeping Beauty! Hear from one of SF Ballet’s most versatile ballerinas about dancing The Sleeping Beauty, and learn a few excerpts from this iconic work from the classical ballet repertoire.

Master Class: Tina LeBlanc on Jerome Robbins’ ballets
For students currently training in ballet who are ages 15-18

Cost: $50

Tina LeBlanc has had an amazing career as a Principal Dancer with SF Ballet as well as a faculty member with SF Ballet School. This season she is also a Ballet Master for the Company, working on the all-Robbins program and new works. We welcome you to attend this Master Class to learn about Robbins’ choreography from one of our most versatile faculty members.

Not a Dancer? Come Watch.

Watching a master class as a member of the audience offers an intimate, behind-the-scenes look at the rigor and craft of dance instruction at the same time it provides a deeper connection to the exhilarating art of ballet.

We can accommodate up to 75 observers, but please note: Observers must register in advance. Children eight through 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Unfortunately, children younger than eight years old and babies are not allowed. Photography and videography are strictly prohibited inside the SF Ballet building.
