SUMMER DANCE CAMP OVERVIEW

Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco (BGCSF) and San Francisco Ballet will once again partner together to offer a free, week-long dance program for youth that inspires connection, creativity, and confidence through dance and music!

For five consecutive days, BGCSF members are invited to take dance and music classes in a broad range of styles from professional teaching artists and musicians. Summer Dance Camp is open to BGCSF members going into grades K-5th.

Campers are expected to attend all 5 days of camp, which will culminate in a showcase performance for friends and family on the final day of camp. Campers will receive a Dance Camp t-shirt and completion certificate on the last day.

Summer Dance Camp participants learn a range of dance styles. Past offerings have included ballet, dance theatre, hip hop, Bhangra, Bollywood, Chinese folk dance, Taiko drumming, and West African dance and drumming.

Participants must be summer 2024 Boys & Girls Clubs of SF members in grades K–8th. You may also sign-up for membership at the Excelsior Clubhouse for the week of Summer Dance Camp, at a special rate of $50 for two weeks summer membership, including the week of Summer Dance Camp.
