Zagrebin studied at the Bolshoi Ballet academy before joining the Bolshoi Ballet in 2007. He has garnered a number of competition awards, including gold medals at the International Ballet Competition in Seoul and at the Moscow International Ballet competition. His repertory includes works such as Yuri Grigorovich’s Romeo & Juliet, Swan Lake, and Spartacus; Jiri Kylian’s Symphony of Psalms; August Bournonville’s La Sylphide; and Ratmansky’s Russian Seasons; to name a few. In 2012, he was named a soloist at Stanislavsky Ballet in Moscow.
