From San Jose, California, Kristina Lind studied at San Jose Youth Ballet before attending San Francisco Ballet School. In 2009 she joined the Company as a member of the corps de ballet.
Lind has danced featured or principal roles in Tomasson’s Nutcracker (Sugar Plum Fairy and Queen of the Snow), Ratmansky’s Le Carnaval des Animaux (Jellyfish and Swan), Robbins’ Glass Pieces (1st movement soloist and 2nd movement pas de deux), and Thatcher’s Stone and Steel (pas de deux).
Her repertory includes Tomasson’s Giselle (Wili), Romeo & Juliet, Swan Lake, Criss-Cross, On a Theme of Paganini, and Prism; Tomasson/Possokhov’s Don Quixote; Balanchine’s Coppélia, Agon, Brahms-Schoenberg Quartet (4th movement), Divertimento No. 15, “Diamonds,” ”Emeralds,” The Four Temperaments, Stars and Stripes, Stravinsky Violin Concerto, Symphony in C, and Symphony in Three Movements; Cranko’s Onegin; Fokine’s Petrouchka; Forsythe’s Artifact Suite; Lifar’s Suite en Blanc (Sieste); Makarova’s (after Petipa) Kingdom of the Shades, Act II from La Bayadère; McGregor’s Borderlands; Neumeier’s The Little Mermaid; Nureyev’s Raymonda—Act III; Possokhov’s Francesca da Rimini; Ratmansky’s Symphony #9, Chamber Symphony, and Piano Concerto #1 in Shostakovich Trilogy; and Wheeldon’s Cinderella (Summer, Courtier, and Bird Lady).
