Carolyn Lippert was born in Boston, Massachusetts, trained at Severance Ballet Conservatory with Carla Stallings-Lippert and at American Ballet Theatre’s Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School. She was a member of the ABT Studio Company before she joined San Francisco Ballet as a member of the corps de ballet in 2014.
Lippert apprenticed with ABT during its 2012 and 2013 performances of Ratmansky’s Nutcracker. She performed with ABT during its 2013 Metropolitan Opera House season, dancing in Le Corsaire, Don Quixote, Romeo and Juliet, The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, and Balanchine’s Symphony in C. She danced with The Washington Ballet in Giselle and Webre’s La Vie en Rose and The Nutcracker.
