Samantha Bristow was born in Media, Pennsylvania, and trained at The Rock School for Dance Education and San Francisco Ballet School, where she was in the Trainee Program for one year. She was named an apprentice in 2014 and joined the Company as a member of the corps de ballet in 2015.
Bristow has danced featured roles in Tomasson’s Giselle (Giselle’s Friends), Nutcracker (French), Romeo & Juliet (Juliet’s Friends), and Tomasson/Possokhov’s Don Quixote (Bridesmaids). Her repertory includes Wheeldon’s Cinderella; Balanchine’s Brahms-Schoenberg Quartet (3rd movement) and Serenade; Makarova’s (after Petipa) “The Kingdom of the Shades” from La Bayadère, Act II; and Robbins’ Glass Pieces.
