Maggie Weirich was born in Portland, Oregon, and trained at the School of Oregon Ballet Theatre and San Francisco Ballet School. She was named an apprentice in 2014 and joined the Company as a member of the corps de ballet in 2015.
Weirch has danced a featured role in Tomasson’s Nutcracker (French). Her repertory also includes Tomasson’s Giselle (Peasants and Wilis) and Romeo & Juliet (Citizens of Verona and Ballroom); Tomasson/Possokhov’s Don Quixote (Seguidilla, Gypsies, Driads, and Fandango); Balanchine’s Brahms-Schoenberg Quartet (4th movement), The Four Temperaments (Phlegmatic corps), Serenade, 4th movement and finale from Symphony in C, and excerpts from Theme and Variations; Lifar’s Suite en Blanc; Makarova’s (after Petipa) “The Kingdom of the Shades” from La Bayadère, Act II; Ratmansky’s Shostakovich Trilogy (Symphony #9); and Robbins’ Glass Pieces.
