Isabella DeVivo created roles in Bubeníček’s Fragile Vessels, McIntyre’s Your Flesh Shall Be a Great Poem (featured pas de deux), Millepied’s The Chairman Dances—Quartet for Two, Rhoden’s LET’S BEGIN AT THE END, Tomasson’s Caprice, Thatcher’s Ghost in the Machine and Manifesto, Welch’s Bespoke, and Wheeldon’s Bound To. She has danced featured or principal roles in Tomasson’s Giselle (Peasant pas de cinq, Solo Wili), Nutcracker (Ballerina Doll, Queen of the Snow, Sugar Plum Fairy, Spanish), Romeo & Juliet (Acrobats and Harlots), The Sleeping Beauty (Fairy of Serenity, White Cat), and Swan Lake (Act 1 pas de trois, Cygnets, Neapolitan, Russian); Tomasson/Possokhov’s Don Quixote (Kitri’s Friends); Balanchine’s Coppélia (Swanilda’s Friends, Jesterettes), Serenade (Russian corps), and Theme and Variations; Caniparoli’s Ibsen’s House (“Lady from the Sea”) and Tears (principal); Peck’s In the Countenance of Kings (Quantus); Scarlett’s Fearful Symmetries (principal) and Hummingbird; and Wheeldon’s Cinderella (Spirit of Spring/Lightness).
Her repertory includes Balanchine’s Allegro Brillante, The Four Temperaments, and Stravinsky Violin Concerto; Caniparoli’s Lambarena; Cranko’s Onegin; Forsythe’s Pas/Parts 2016; Makarova’s (after Petipa) “The Kingdom of the Shades” from La Bayadère, Act II; Morris’ Drink to Me Only With Thine Eyes and Maelstrom; Possokhov’s Classical Symphony, Firebird, and Swimmer; Ratmansky’s Shostakovich Trilogy; Robbins’ Glass Pieces; Scarlett’s Frankenstein; Thatcher’s Stone and Steel; Tomasson’s The Fifth Season and Trio; and Wheeldon’s Rush and Within the Golden Hour.
Isabella danced in the 2015 film of Tomasson’s Romeo & Juliet (Lincoln Center at the Movies: Great American Dance) and performed on Broadway in Chita Rivera: A Dancer’s Life.
