Davide Occhipinti has danced featured roles in Tomasson’s Nutcracker (Spanish and Russian). His repertory includes Tomasson’s Swan Lake (Peasants and Czardas corps); Balanchine’s Coppélia (Dolls and Grooms), Diamonds, Prodigal Son, and Stravinsky Violin Concerto; Bubeníček’s Fragile Vessels, Cranko’s Onegin (corps de ballet), Peck’s In the Countenance of Kings; Pita’s Salome (Hostages); Scarlett’s Frankenstein; and Wheeldon’s Cinderella (Autumn corps, Tree Gnomes, and Courtiers) and Within the Golden Hour.
What ballet or role wuld you like to dance but haven't yet? Why?
Balanchine’s The Four Temperaments. I fell in love with it the first time I saw SF Ballet perform the work. I hope I get to do it someday.
