Megan Amanda Ehrlich has danced featured roles in Tomasson’s Giselle (Giselle’s Friends), Nutcracker (Spanish and French), and Swan Lake (Aristocrats and Russian); Cranko’s Onegin (Friends); Lifar’s Suite en Blanc (Sieste); and Possokhov’s Firebird (Little Princesses).
Her repertory includes Tomasson’s Romeo & Juliet, The Sleeping Beauty (Garland Dance, Nymphs, Ladies of the Court, and Polonaise), The Fifth Season, On a Theme of Paganini, and Trio; Tomasson/Possokhov’s Don Quixote; Balanchine’s Brahms-Schoenberg Quartet (1st and 3rd movements), Diamonds, Divertimento No. 15, The Four Temperaments (Melancholic corps), Scotch Symphony, Serenade, and Symphony in Three Movements; Makarova’s (after Petipa) “Kingdom of the Shades” from La Bayadère, Act II; Nureyev’s Raymonda—Act III (Hungarian); Page’s Guide to Strange Places; Possokhov’s The Rite of Spring; Ratmansky’s Shostakovich Trilogy (Chamber Symphony); Robbins’ The Cage, Glass Pieces, and Opus 19/The Dreamer; Scarlett’s Frankenstein; and Wheeldon’s Cinderella (Autumn, Bird Ladies, and Courtiers). Elsewhere, she danced Balanchine’s Serenade (Waltz couple), Caniparoli’s Nutcracker (Marzipan), and Radcovsky’s Romeo and Juliet.
As a guest artist, Megan performed the role of Odette in Swan Lake for the International Children’s Festival in Washington, DC, in May 2011; Nikolai Kabaniaev’s Bach de Trois at the National Society of Arts and Letters gala at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, in April 2011; at the Horatio Alger Awards Induction Ceremony in April 2011; and the Sugar Plum Fairy in Nutcracker with Gainesville Ballet in Washington, DC, in December 2010.
