    Joined the Company as a member of the corps de ballet in 2018

Before joining San Francisco Ballet, Lucas Erni danced principal or featured roles in Balanchine’s Raymonda Variations (principal) and Theme and Variations (principal); Cranko’s Onegin (Lensky); Haydée’s Carmen (Don José); MacMillan’s Romeo and Juliet (Romeo and Benvolio); Makarova’s La Bayadère (Bronze Idol); Martinez’s Coppélia (Franz); Petipa/Ivanov’s Nutcracker (Prince); and Petipa’s Don Quixote (Basilio), Giselle (Peasant pas de deux), and Swan Lake (Siegfried). His repertory includes Kylián’s Petite Mort and Sinfonietta.

Lucas was a finalist at Switzerland’s Prix de Lausanne in 2013. As a student at SF Ballet School in 2013–2014, he danced in Tomasson’s Nutcracker and Wheeldon’s Cinderella.
