- Won the gold medal, Professional Category, at VII Concurso de la Confederación Interamericana de Profesionales de la Danza in 2010.
- Received scholarships from the Institute of Culture of the Yucatán Government in 2004–2008.
- Received the Youth Award of the Arts, Yucatán, Mexico, in 2003.
- Performed in Farewell: Sarah Van Patten, Wooden Dimes, 2022.
What inspired you to keep dancing during the COVID-19 lockdown?
To focus on the beauty and love within us, regardless of the mess that it was outside.
If you weren’t a dancer, what would your job be?
Psychologist or design.
What are some of your favorite roles or ballets you've danced while at SF Ballet?
Justin Peck’s Hurry Up We’re Dreaming, Liam Scarlet’s Die Toteninsel,Hummingbird, Dwight Roden’s The Promised Land, Helgi Tomasson’s Trio, Gitana Woman in Tomasson’s Don Q, Second Movement Demis in Balanchine’s Symphony in C, White Tutu in Lander’s Etudes.
What are you the most proud of?
The consistency of my work ethic, never missing a single performance yet, and never giving up.
What are you looking forward to in the 2023 Season?
Just more joyous dancing :)
