Sofiane Sylve and Carlo Di Lanno Perform at DanceFAR

Dance for a Reason (DanceFAR) is an annual benefit dance performance and after party founded by three current and former SF Ballet dancers, Margaret Karl, Garen Scribner, and James Sofranko, which raises funds and awareness for the Cancer Prevention Institute of California (CPIC). Since 2012, DanceFAR has raised over $350,000 for the CPIC.

This year’s DanceFAR will be held on “Giving Tuesday,” November 29, at 7:30 pm, at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater. The performance will feature Principal Dancers Sofiane Sylve and Carlo Di Lanno performing the pas de deux from Balanchine's Diamonds, as well as 12 other performances from the Bay Area dance community and international guest artists.
