Yuri Possokhov’s new work, set to premiere in Program 2: Modern Masters, has been named Optimistic Tragedy. The work is set to a score entitled An Optimistic Tragedy by composer Ilya Demutsky.

This month at SF Ballet, Liam Scarlett and his two choreographic assistants—Ricardo Cervera and Gregory Mislin from The Royal Ballet—will be setting Frankenstein until November 30. Benjamin Millepied is also creating a work for the Opening Night Gala on January 19. He will be in San Francisco until November 17.
