San Francisco Ballet, America’s oldest professional ballet company, is thrilled to return to New York City for a two-week engagement this fall. October 16-20, the Company will perform a variety of mixed-bill programs—including seven New York premieres—with works by Edwaard Liang, Serge Lifar, Wayne McGregor, Mark Morris, Yuri Possokhov, Alexei Ratmansky, Helgi Tomasson, and Christopher Wheeldon. October 23-27, SF Ballet presents the New York premiere of Christopher Wheeldon’s lavish new full-length ballet Cinderella. This wildly imaginative production features music by Prokofiev, sets and costumes by Julian Crouch (renowned for his designs for Metropolitan Opera and the Broadway musical The Addams Family), and puppetry by Obie Award winner Basil Twist.
