View a stunning photography retrospective by Photographer Erik Tomasson in honor of his fifth year photographing the Company, and hear Artistic Director & Principal Choreographer Helgi Tomasson and SF Ballet dancers discuss highlights from the Ballet’s upcoming 2010 season. Plus, join guests for a private tour of the Museum’s exhibition Somethin’s Happening Here: Bay Area Rock ‘n’ Roll 1963-73. Admission includes wine and hors d'oeuvres and is complimentary for current ENCORE! members, ENCORE! 2010 Gala ticket purchasers, and MPD members, $20 for the general public. Silver Celebration will begin in City Hall with an elegant cocktail reception and dinner in the Mezzanine. The gala performance will follow in the War Memorial Opera House and features the Company in a wide range of works selected in honor of Helgi Tomasson specifically for the occasion. After the performance, all dinner guests are invited to City Hall to continue the celebration with live music, dancing, refreshments, and desserts.
