Disability Access

Persons with wheelchairs may enter and exit the Opera House through the front doors (Van Ness Avenue), Taxi Ramp (Grove Street) and Carriage Entrance (north side).

Wheelchair seating positions are located in the Orchestra and Dress Circle levels. Contact the San Francisco Ballet Box Office for more information.

Accessible restrooms are located on all floors except the Orchestra and Balcony levels.

Accessible public telephones are on the Orchestra, Mezzanine, Grand Tier and Dress Circle levels. Public telephone with "TDD” is located on the Orchestra level in the northeast corner of the lobby.

Accessible drinking fountains are located on all floors except the Balcony level.

The Opera House is equipped with a Sennheiser Infrared Listening System. Wireless headphones and induction devices (adaptable to hearing aids) are available free of charge at the coat-check room, located at the south end of the main lobby. ID deposit is requested. The devices can be used in any seat in the Opera House.
