From San Jose, California, Kristina Lind studied at San Jose Youth Ballet before attending San Francisco Ballet School. In 2009 she joined the Company as a member of the corps de ballet.
Lind has danced featured roles in Tomasson’s Nutcracker (Queen of the Snow), Ratmansky’s Le Carnaval des Animaux (Jellyfish and Swan), and Robbins’ Glass Pieces (second movement).
Her repertory includes Tomasson’s Giselle, Romeo & Juliet, Swan Lake, Criss-Cross, On a Theme of Paganini, and Prism; Tomasson/Possokhov’s Don Quixote; Balanchine’s Coppélia, Divertimento No. 15, “Diamonds,” ”Emeralds,” The Four Temperaments, Stars and Stripes, Stravinsky Violin Concerto, Symphony in C, and Symphony in Three Movements; Cranko’s Onegin; Fokine’s Petrouchka; Forsythe’s Artifact Suite; Lifar’s Suite en Blanc; McGregor’s Borderlands; Neumeier’s The Little Mermaid; Nureyev’s Raymonda—Act III; Possokhov’s Francesca da Rimini; and Wheeldon’s Cinderella.
