A Bay Area native, Alexandra McCullagh was born in San Francisco and trained with Cynthia Lucas at Marin Ballet and San Francisco Ballet School prior to joining the Company in 2006. Her repertory includes Tomasson’s Giselle, Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, Romeo & Juliet, and Nutcracker; Tomasson/Possokhov’s Don Quixote; Balanchine’s Coppélia, Divertimento No. 15, Serenade, and Symphony in C; Mark Morris’ Sandpaper Ballet; Robbins’ Opus 19/The Dreamer and West Side Story Suite; Taylor’s Changes; and Wheeldon’s Ghosts and Number Nine, among others
