The daughter of dancers Jorge Esquivel and Amparo Brito, Ms. Esquivel Brito began training at the National Ballet School of Cuba. In 1988, she joined Pro-Danza (now Ballet Classico of Havana) while completing her training at the National Ballet School. Ms. Esquivel Brito danced with Oakland Ballet and in 2003 joined the faculty of SF Ballet School. |
