Auditions for the 2011-12 School Year will take place in May, 2011
WHEN:

WHO:
Girls and Boys ages 7 ½– 10 with or without previous ballet training.
The ideal candidate is a healthy child with a physique possessing attributes that are generally considered requisite for professional accomplishment in classical ballet; a straight and supple spine, legs that are well turned out from the hip joints and correctly arched feet. The child should have an ear for music and an instinct for movement. All students are accepted on a trial basis.

WHAT TO WEAR:
Girls: leotard, tights and ballet slippers.
Boys: T-shirt, tights and ballet slippers.
If you do not have ballet clothing, please wear a t-shirt, shorts and socks.
WHAT TO BRING: Proof of applicant’s age: copy of birth certificate, state issued ID, or passport. Passport-sized headshot or small school picture.
There is no fee for this audition.
These auditions are for beginning level students only.
Girls and boys ages 11-18 from the SF Bay Area with previous training should contact the School Office at 415.865.6700 after September 7, 2010 to schedule an audition. Auditions will take place the week of September 13, 2010 only.
Intermediate and advanced level students ages 13-18 from outside of the Bay Area seeking admission to the School should audition for and attend the School's 2011 Summer Session. Auditions for the Summer Session are held in January and February 2011.
